Olaf Born has a strong work history in the engineering and sales fields. Olaf started their career at Hosokawa Alpine AG in 1999 as a Project Engineer for the Pharma & Food industry and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they were promoted to Deputy Team Manager and Project Manager Containment, where they oversaw various projects until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Team Manager for Sales & Engineering. In 2015, Olaf joined Hosokawa Alpine Aktiengesellschaft as the Head of Engineering for the Pharma & Lab Division, a position they still hold.
Olaf Born attended Fachhochschule Konstanz from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Process Engineering. Olaf completed their studies and acquired the title of Dipl.-Ing. (FH) within that field.
