Amber Sastry

Amber Sastry is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community building and health advocacy. As the Founder of A Storied Life since March 2020, Amber has focused on initiating conversations around topics often considered taboo, including birth and death. Currently volunteering with Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo, Amber supports families through the Essential Care For Children Team. Previous roles include serving as a Clinical Ethics Committee Member at The Royal Children's Hospital and volunteering with Very Special Kids, alongside leadership positions in various organizations such as the Texas Women's Foundation and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Amber holds dual Master's degrees in Public Policy with a focus on Global Health and Reproductive Health Policy from UCLA, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University at Buffalo.
