Brooke Burns is an experienced registered nurse currently serving as an After Hours Hospice Field RN and Assistant Manager at Hospice By The Bay since August 2016, providing patient care and managing nursing staff across multiple counties in the Bay Area. Previously, Brooke worked as a registered nurse for the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center, where responsibilities included managing patient flow, providing post-operative education, and serving as liaison to professional sports teams. Additionally, Brooke has experience in emergency and medical-surgical nursing at Cheyenne River Health Center on a Native reservation, and held a role as a substitute teacher within the Vallejo City Unified School District. Educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing from City College of San Francisco, as well as two Bachelor's degrees in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences and Consumer Affairs from California State University, Northridge.
