Kent Anderson

Director at Hospice of Dayton

Kent Anderson has been a director at Hospice of Dayton since August 2010. Prior to that, they were the chief of program administration at Hope Hospice and Community Services, Inc. from February 2008 to August 2010. Kent was responsible for financials and management of daily operations. Kent decreased annual operating expenses and increased census growth while setting new standards for level of care and outreach provided to patients and families. In addition, Kent successfully prepared for and passed initial accreditation survey and established a successful Medicare / Medicaid program called PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).

From April 2003 to July 2006, Kent served as the chief operating officer at Hope Hospice and Community Services, Inc. overseeing financials and management for all mission support operations, including accreditation process, compliance, risk management, mission planning, education, long term care diversion, bereavement and counseling.

Kent was the president at In-Stride Inc. from January 2000 to December 2003. Prior to that, they were the chief operating officer at WellMed Medical Management from January 1997 to December 2000.

Kent Anderson has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Our Lady of the Lake University in Healthcare and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. Kent also has a certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives in Fellow.
