Diane Syrcle, MBA, CHSP has a strong background in development and leadership roles in the performing arts and nonprofit sectors. Diane most recently served as the Chief Mission Officer for Hospice of Santa Cruz County, where they played a key role in advancing the organization's mission. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development for the same organization.

Before joining Hospice of Santa Cruz County, Diane worked as the Senior Director of Development at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Diane also served as the Vice President of Development at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana, overseeing fundraising efforts for the renowned theater complex.

Prior to that, Diane held executive positions with the Oregon Symphony and the Oregon Ballet Theatre. As the Executive Vice President for Development at the Oregon Symphony, they led successful fundraising campaigns and managed relationships with foundations, corporations, and major donors. At the Oregon Ballet Theatre, Diane served as the Executive Director, overseeing all aspects of the organization's operations and contributing to its growth and sustainability.

Earlier in their career, Diane served as the Executive Director of the Portland Youth Philharmonic, America's first youth orchestra, and as the Director of Education and Outreach at Portland Opera.

Diane Syrcle has a diverse education history. Diane earned their Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Vocal Performance & Music Education from West Texas A&M University, which they attended from 1984 to 1989. Later, in the years 1992 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Music (MM) degree in Opera at the University of North Texas. Diane continued their educational journey by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Development from Marylhurst University, attending from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their academic degrees, Diane Syrcle also holds a certification as a Certified Healthcare Sale Professional (CHSP) from CHAP: Center for Excellence. Diane obtained this certification in November 2022.
