Lucy Cook

Dr Lucy Cook is the senior speciality doctor & responsible clinician here at the Hospice. She has been working in the field of palliative medicine for 13 years and has attained her post graduate diploma in palliative medicine from Cardiff University in 2011. Dr Lucy spent 2 years in India where she spent time volunteering at a hospice in Bangalore and she has a passion the delivery of excellent palliative care.

As a member of the SMT her role involves both clinical and managerial duties. Her role includes supporting the Hospice medical team, co-ordination of patient care and ensuring continuity and safety of patients in the Hospice. Working collaboratively with health care professionals from other services to ensure that as many people as possible can access the excellent care at the Hospice.
