Juan Pablo CARRASCO-HERNANDEZ is a highly experienced vascular neurosurgeon and skull base surgeon, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Hospital de Especialidades Teodoro Maldonado Carbo since April 2021. CARRASCO-HERNANDEZ has held multiple positions in various hospitals and institutions, including providing advanced neurosurgical treatment for complex lesions at Interhospital, OmniHospital, and Grupo Hospitalario Kennedy. As an Associate Professor at Skull Base Laboratory, CARRASCO-HERNANDEZ focuses on skull base surgical anatomy and training in technical skills for managing tumor and vascular lesions. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, as well as specialized fellowships and master’s degrees from prestigious institutions. CARRASCO-HERNANDEZ has also undergone extensive training under renowned mentors in the field.
