Silvia Tortola

Silvia Tortola has extensive experience in the field of genomic research and technology transfer. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Technology and Business Development and Project Manager in Technology Transfer at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) since September 2005, Silvia has also been a member of the Clinical Research Ethical Committee at IMIM since January 2006. Previously, Silvia held positions as a Staff Scientist at EUROPROTEOME AG from April 2002 to November 2004, a Researcher at Fondation pour Recherches Médicales Université de Genève from February 1998 to March 2002, and a PhD Researcher at the Oncology Research Institute (IRO) from January 1994 to December 1997. Silvia holds a degree in Biology from Universitat de Barcelona, attained between 1988 and 1992, and completed earlier education at BCN COU Jaume Bofill and Escola Virolai.
