Amanda McMahon

Amanda McMahon has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Their most recent position is as a Clinical Informatics Lead PeriOp at the Hospital for Special Surgery, starting in December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where they held multiple roles. Amanda was an Epic OpTime Analyst from March 2018 to December 2019 and a MSN Clinical Information Systems Instructor from March 2012 to March 2018. Before joining New York-Presbyterian, Amanda worked as a BSN Float Nurse at Nyack Hospital from October 2010 to March 2012 and as a BSN Outpatient Cardiology Nurse at Rockland Cardiology from September 2011 to December 2011. Amanda began their career at White Plains Hospital, where they worked as a Staff Registered Nurse CNII in various units from November 2006 to July 2010, gaining experience in medical/surgical, acute stroke, OR, ICU, and infusion nursing. Throughout their roles, Amanda has demonstrated strong clinical and informatics skills, project management abilities, and effective teamwork and communication.

Amanda McMahon has a Master's Degree in Nursing Informatics from Chamberlain University (2015-2017). Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Dominican University New York (2008-2010). Amanda also holds an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Rockland Community College (2004-2006).
