Riley J Williams III

Riley J Williams III, MD is a prominent orthopedic surgeon and academic with extensive experience in sports medicine. As a co-founder of Best-In-Class MD since April 2020, Williams also serves as an attending orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery and a professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, both positions held since July 1998. Additionally, Williams has acted as the medical director and team orthopedic surgeon for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Red Bulls since 2006, as well as serving as team physician for USA Basketball since 2014. Previously, Williams was the head team physician for Iona College's Department of Athletics from 1999 to 2022. Williams holds an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine and a BS from Yale University.
