Reinier Peñarroche Díaz

Reinier Peñarroche Díaz is a biomedical engineer with a diverse background in medical equipment management, software solutions, and organizational leadership. Since December 2022, Reinier has been serving as an Ingeniero biomédico at Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus. Reinier is also the Principal CEO of Reixmor, a company focused on biomedical and software solutions, and holds the position of Presidente at Asociación Deportiva CUBAN TRAIL TEAM since April 2018. Previously, Reinier was responsible for electromedicine at Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) from March 2017 to April 2021 and worked as an Oficial de 2da electromedicina at Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron. Reinier's early experience includes roles as a biomedical engineer in Cuba, where responsibilities encompassed installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment. A graduate of Universidad Central Martha Abreu de las Villas, Reinier holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on electrical and electronic engineering.
