Eduardo Mayorga M.D.

Eduardo Mayorga MD serves as a Senior Consultant on Medical Education in the Eye Department at Hospital Universitario Austral since May 2020 and as a Board Member of the Ophthalmology Foundation, which focuses on enhancing ophthalmic education globally, particularly in under-resourced regions. Dr. Mayorga holds the position of Honorary Head of the Eye Department at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, where Eduardo also directs e-learning initiatives. Additionally, Dr. Mayorga is involved with the Pan American Association of Ophthalmology as a member of the E-learning Committee and previously chaired the E-learning Committee for Campus PAAO. Significant prior roles include Chair of the Committee of Technologies for Teaching and Learning at the International Council of Ophthalmology and Director of Medical Education and Training programs at Third Term Learning. Dr. Mayorga holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buenos Aires and completed an Ophthalmology residency at Universidad Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires.
