Heetika Gada

Heetika Gada is currently working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Hosta a.i. since February 2021. Prior to this role, they had various experiences, including being a Social Chair and Department Representative at the Engineering Graduate Student Council from January 2020 to January 2021. Heetika also served as a Professional Development and Leadership (PDL) Fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York from January 2020 to January 2021. Additionally, they were a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Fellow at Conservation X Labs from May 2020 to August 2020 and a Tamer Social Enterprise Summer Fellow at Columbia Business School during the same period. Heetika was also involved with IETE - Institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers, where they served as a Student Mentor, Chairperson, and Infotech Co Committee Member from June 2016 to April 2019. Heetika gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern at Three Commas Solutions LLP from March 2018 to April 2018. Furthermore, Heetika held leadership positions, such as the Head of Student Organizing Committee at the International Conference on Wireless Communication from September 2017 to January 2018, and Captain at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering from July 2015 to April 2016.

Heetika Gada pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, from 2015 to 2019. As part of their undergraduate studies, they also obtained certifications in "RC Aircraft Designing and Fabrication" from DJS Skylark in February 2016 and "Basics of Robotics" from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering in October 2015.

Heetika continued their education by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University from 2019 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Heetika Gada also obtained a certification in "Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision" from the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers in February 2018.
