Thor Sandell

Thor Sandell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thor currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Hostess Brands. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer/Human Resources at Bridgestone APM Company from 2020 to 2023. Before that, they worked as the Executive Director for Organizational Design and Development at Bridgestone Americas from 2019 to 2020.

Thor Sandell's earlier experience includes various roles at Bridgestone, such as Executive Director of Corporate Human Resources, Senior Corporate HR Business Partner, Corporate HR Business Partner, and Director of Talent Development from 2013 to 2019. Thor also had a significant tenure at PepsiCo, where they held the positions of Director of Organizational Management and Development from 2012 to 2013 and Staffing and Development Director from 2008 to 2012.

Before joining PepsiCo, Thor Sandell worked at GE Capital as an HR Manager and Corporate Audit Staff member from 1999 to 2002. Thor also gained experience in internet research at the Department of Consumer and Industry Affairs from 1995 to 1996. Thor'searlier roles include working as a Resident Assistant at the Residence Life Department of Michigan State University from 1992 to 1994 and serving as the Legal Services Director at Associated Students Michigan State University from 1992 to 1993.

Thor Sandell has a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, which they obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in American Public Affairs and Social Relations with a focus on James Madison. From 2009 to 2016, Thor Sandell completed their PhD in Organizational Management from Capella University's School of Business & Technology.
