Deepti Patankar

Deepti Patankar is the current COO and Head of Host at Hostmaker. Prior to their exit, they were a co-founder at Hostmaker.co, which was one of Europe's fastest-growing startups. Hostmaker provided property owners with a platform to manage their homes on online channels such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Zoopla, etc. With operations in six countries across Europe and over 250 employees, Hostmaker raised over $45 million in funding from VCs and strategic investors.

As one of the fastest-growing startups in Europe, Hostmaker received numerous awards and recognition, including rank 3 in Deloitte Fast 50 UK list (2019) and rank 36 in Financial Times 1000 Fastest Growing Businesses in Europe (2015 to 2018).

Patankar's key achievements and responsibilities include sales, customer success, and product development. Deepti grew the property portfolio from 0 to over 5000 properties in aggregate over five years. Deepti also hired and trained a sales team of 10+ people and implemented a sales playbook. In customer success, they defined customer segments, use cases, and mapped out user journeys. Deepti also set up SLAs and hired a team of 20 account managers and customer support team. In product development, they led cross-functional teams to deliver digital products such as Host Activation form and Host Dashboard to reduce customer support costs.

Deepti Patankar attended the National Law School of India University, where they earned a B.A.L.L.B (Hons) degree in Law. Deepti also attended R A Podar College of Commerce & Economics Matunga Mumbai 400 019, where they earned a degree in Business/Commerce, General.
