Mark Jamieson

Mark Jamieson has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Mark is currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Hot Chili Limited since September 2021. Prior to that, Mark held various roles at Glencore from 2014, including General Manager - Resource Engineering and Manager NQ Copper Resource Development. Mark also worked at MMG Limited as Manager - Mine Closure Planning and Early Stage Studies in 2014, and at Newcrest Mining as Mining Study Lead and Senior Mining Engineer from 2008 to 2013. Mark started their career at Xstrata Copper as a Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer from 2004 to 2007, and at Barrick Gold Corporation as a Geotechnical Engineer from 2001 to 2004.

Mark Jamieson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering at RMIT University from 1997 to 2000. Later, they pursued their Master of Science in Engineering degree in Mining Geomechanics at UNSW from 2004 to 2006.
