People are the heart, soul, and backbone of every business. Creating an environment that attracts, retains, and helps grow the very best talent is no easy task, but it’s precisely what keeps Sara coming to work each and every day with unbounded energy and passion.

Sara is a member of the executive team at Hot Paper Lantern, leading the talent management and human resources function at the organization. In her role, Sara marries the organization’s business strategy, vision, and structure with the skills, experience, and interests of its people.

A strong advocate for suicide prevention and education, Sara chairs the annual “Out of the Darkness” walk in Westchester County for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She is also the founder of At The Start, a coaching consultancy designed to support parents and teens through their major life transitions and into adulthood.

Sara is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Society for Human Resource Management. She holds a PHR certification and is a graduate of the Erickson Coaching International coaching program. Sara holds an M.A. in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and a B.A. in Literature & Communications from Pace University.
