James Hadgis is an experienced leader in the fields of communication, media, and film production. Currently serving as Executive Director of Gas Leaks Action and Senior Director at Climate Nexus since December 2022, James is dedicated to addressing environmental issues and promoting sustainable practices. As the Creative Director and Founder of Future City Media since September 2014, James has been instrumental in driving creative initiatives. Previous roles include Co-Executive Director and Film Producer at the HBCU Storytellers Project and Head of Film Programs & Production at the NATE PARKER FOUNDATION INC. Additionally, James has held executive positions at Usher's New Look, URIV Group, and theAudience. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Michigan.
