Lloyd Madurai

Lloyd Madurai is a seasoned radio professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and media management, spanning over two decades. As the Founder and Director of HOT CARES and the HOT102.7FM Radio Academy, Lloyd has significantly contributed to the South African radio landscape through innovative initiatives. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Shareholder at HOT 102.7FM, Lloyd is also an Executive Committee member at the South African Radio and TV at the NAB. Previous roles include Trustee of the Endangered Wildlife Trust, Deputy Chair of the National Association of Broadcasting, and Program Manager at Jacaranda FM. Lloyd’s early career highlights include becoming the Music Manager and Sunday Morning Breakfast Show Presenter at 947 Highveld Stereo and founding the first in-house radio station at the Chatsworth Centre, which supported local talent development.
