Ian MacKie

Ian Mackie currently serves as the Head of Velvetiser Cafe at Hotel Chocolat, where responsibilities include developing the cafe format and enhancing sales and profitability while ensuring operational excellence in collaboration with Retail Operations. Prior to this role, Ian spent nearly six years at Joules, initially as Head of Channel Marketing and later adding the Head of Customer Services title, focusing on marketing strategy and customer engagement across multiple channels. Ian's earlier experience includes leadership positions at Holland and Barrett International, where significant growth in turnover and margin was achieved in the food category, and a tenure at Total Oil, overseeing diverse managerial roles that encompassed significant operational and category management responsibilities. Ian holds an HND in Graphic Design from Winchester School of Art and has experience across various retail and service sectors.
