Wiley Chung

Wiley Chung, MD, MHPE, PhD(c), FRCSC, currently serves as the Director of Interprofessional Education and the Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Indigeneity, and Accessibility (EDIIA) for the MD Program at Queen's University, as well as holding the position of Chair for Surgical Patient Safety & Quality Improvement in the Department of Surgery and Assistant Professor of Surgery. In addition, Wiley Chung is a Thoracic Surgeon at Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital and the Chief Executive Officer of Smart Biomedical. Academic training includes an Executive MBA from the Saïd Business School, an enrolled PhD in Health Quality at Queen's University, a Master of Health Professions Education, and multiple medical degrees. Notably, Wiley Chung was the valedictorian of the General Surgery Residency graduating class at the University of Toronto.
