Mumtaz Khan

Mumtaz Khan currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Operations Excellence at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, a position held since January 2023. Previous roles at The Leela include Associate Director of OPEX & Human Resources and Sr. Manager of OPEX & Human Resources, demonstrating a progressive career trajectory within the organization. Prior to joining The Leela, Mumtaz held the position of Associate Director of Human Resources at Marriott International, achieving significant milestones in employee retention and diversity. An accomplished professional, Mumtaz was a finalist for the "HR Person of the Year" at the Hotelier India Awards 2012 and contributed to a team recognized as the "Best Team" at the Starwood Awards in 2014. Educational qualifications include a PGDBA in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis International University and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University.
