Catarina Whiteman

Catarina Whiteman has a diverse work experience across different industries. Catarina currently works as the Onboarding Director at Hotelverse, where they are responsible for project management, recruiting and training new team members, and creating procedures for the department. Prior to this, they worked at Essentialist.com as a Hotels Portfolio and Business Partnerships Manager and later as a Travel Designer. In these roles, they focused on establishing commercial relationships with hotels and luxury companies, as well as coordinating with clients and managing a high volume of work. Catarina also has experience as an Executive Assistant at El Khereiji Company, where they handled written and verbal communications, event planning, and scheduling. Additionally, they worked as a Quality Department Assistant at Grupo Piñero, where they developed customer service management procedures and training materials. Earlier in their career, Catarina worked at the Museum of London as an Events Coordinator and Corporate Sales Assistant, where they planned and managed events for private clients and corporate customers. At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, they served as an Assistant to the General Manager and Public Relations Assistant, where they demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and played a key role in loyalty program enrollment and guest satisfaction. Catarina Whiteman has a Master's degree in Marketing Digital y Comércio Eletronico from EAE Business School, which they obtained in the years 2020-2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Instituto Superior de Ciências Empresariais e do Turismo, attending from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Catarina Whiteman has acquired several certifications. In January 2017, they obtained a certification in Event Design & Styling from the International Council for Online Educational Standards. During the same month, they also received a certification in Luxury Wedding Planner from JD IMAGE PROMOTIONS LTD. In December 2016, Catarina earned a certification in Major Event Management from City, University of London. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in German from Lancaster College in January 2013, and in FCE (Cambridge English Language Assessment) in July 2010. In June 2008, they received a certification in Spanish from Academia Anglo American.
