Huadong Sun

Huadong Sun has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Huadong is currently a Senior Director at HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc. where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Director at the same company from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining HotSpot Therapeutics, Inc., Huadong worked at Sarepta Therapeutics, starting as an Associate Director in 2019 and then progressing to become a Director from 2021 to 2021.

From 2010 to 2019, Huadong held various positions at Bristol Myers Squibb. Huadong started as a Research Investigator II in 2010 and worked their way up to become a Principal Scientist in 2018. During this time, they also served as a Senior Research Investigator I & II from 2012 to 2018.

Prior to their work in the industry, Huadong worked as an Assistant Teacher at Peking University from 1998 to 2001.

Huadong Sun has a Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Peking University Health Science Center from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with a focus on Pharmaceutical Sciences.
