George Lemus

NOC Lead Engineer at Hotwire Communications

George Lemus has a strong background in IT and network engineering. George began their career in 1998 as an Information Systems Technician in the US Navy, where they managed a large network and supported satellite operations. After leaving the Navy, Lemus worked as a System Administrator at Tecmarine Lines, monitoring Windows and AS400 systems. George then joined EDS Group as a Senior Helpdesk Coordinator, supporting over 300,000 users and participating in a migration to Windows 2000. Lemus later became a Software Integration Engineer at Atlantic Commtech Corp, responsible for integrating software and administering users across the enterprise. George then worked as a NOC Engineer/Wintel Engineer at Unisys, monitoring and resolving network issues and analyzing router and switch activity. Lemus later joined Lemtek Inc as a Project Manager/Network Engineer, where they worked with vendors, designed optical networks, and managed installation projects. Most recently, Lemus worked at Hotwire Communications Ltd as a NOC Engineer II, monitoring network availability using various tools.

George Lemus attended Florida Career College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Network Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, George obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco in February 2023.
