NOC Lead Engineer at Hotwire Communications

Lisa Carr has extensive work experience in the field of network and systems administration. Lisa currently serves as the NOC Lead Engineer at Hotwire Communications Ltd since August 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a NOC Engineer I at the same company from March 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Hotwire Communications Ltd, Lisa worked at Centurion Health as a Systems Administrator. In this role, they managed network and computer systems for over 3,000 users at 55 sites. Lisa was responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and installing user workstations and peripheral devices. Additionally, Lisa managed and installed Cisco Catalyst and HP ProCurve switches. Lisa held this position from April 2016 to June 2019.

Lisa also gained valuable experience at Sprint as a Network Engineer II from October 2013 to December 2015. Lisa'sresponsibilities included deploying Fortinet Fortigate firewalls for IPSec Site-to-Site VPN, troubleshooting routing, switching, and firewall issues in Cisco and multivendor networks, and utilizing FortiManager for configuration and firmware updates.

As a Consultant, Lisa provided IT services from February 2005 to October 2013. During this period, they installed and configured various hardware and software components such as workstations, servers, routers, switches, and IP phones. Lisa also managed and troubleshot these systems, performed disk imaging, data backup and restoration, and operating system migrations.

Lisa started their career as a Lab Assistant at Pensacola State College, where they provided assistance for the Cisco NetAcademy program. Lisa administered student workstations, Cisco routers, and Cisco Catalyst switches during their tenure from September 2001 to December 2001.

Lisa Carr began their education in 2000 at Seminole State College of Florida, where they studied Computer Engineering Technology with a focus on Computer Networking. Lisa then transferred to Pensacola State College in 2001 and completed their Associate of Science degree in Network Services Technology in 2002.

Continuing their education, Lisa Carr attended the University of West Florida from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lisa Carr has also obtained several certifications. In 2000, they obtained the CNA: Netware 5 certification from Novell. Lisa further enhanced their skills by obtaining the CompTIA A+ certification in 2001. In 2013, Lisa Carr earned the MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory certification from Microsoft and the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco. In 2015, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP) certification from Cisco. Finally, in 2012, Lisa Carr acquired the CIW: Web Foundations Associate certification from CIWcertified and the MCP: Windows 2000 Professional certification from Microsoft.

Overall, Lisa Carr has a strong educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, complemented by various certifications in network and server technologies.
