Angela Plyler

Angela Plyler is a highly experienced software engineer with a career spanning several prominent companies in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since November 2014, Angela excels in designing and developing web-based assessment software while also guiding architectural decisions and collaborating with business stakeholders. Previously, Angela held key roles at Johnson Controls, where management of the award-winning GridConnect software took place, and at Oaktree Digital, where custom software was developed for a diverse clientele. Angela's earlier experience includes contributions to scalable financial transaction software at Infospace and satellite communications software at GTE Electronics and California Microwave. Angela holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Circuits and Signal Processing and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both degrees from UCLA.
