Sylvia st. Cyr

Sylvia St. Cyr, M.Ed., currently serves as Senior Sales Director at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since May 2023, and has been with NWEA as Senior Director for East Accounts since January 2014, previously holding the role of Senior Account Executive. At NWEA, Sylvia actively supports the mission of partnering to help all kids learn. From August 2009 to January 2014, Sylvia worked as Gifted Coordinator at Hamilton County Educational Service Center, where responsibilities included coordinating gifted services across multiple districts, ensuring state compliance, and providing professional development for a variety of educational professionals. Prior experience includes serving as a Gifted Intervention Specialist, Technology Teacher, and 5th Grade Science/Social Studies Teacher at Reading Community Schools from January 1997 to June 2009. Sylvia holds a Master of Education in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Northern Kentucky University.
