Yibo Wang

Yibo Wang is a psychometrician currently employed at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt since May 2023 and at NWEA since February 2023, specializing in state solutions. Prior experience includes a data scientist intern role at Joblogic-X Corporation from January to May 2022, where responsibilities included building a recommendation engine, developing inventory reports, and improving SQL query accuracy. Yibo also served as a research assistant at the University of Iowa from August 2017 to May 2022, contributing to data visualization projects and student data analyses, and worked as a grader in data science. Additional research assistant experience was gained at the Collaborative Innovation Center of Assessment for Basic Education Quality from August 2014 to June 2017 under the advisement of Tao Yang. Yibo Wang holds a PhD in Educational Measurement and Statistics and a Master's in Information Science from the University of Iowa, a Master's in Educational Measurement and Evaluation from Beijing Normal University, and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from South China Normal University. Yibo is currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
