Hussain Kazim

Hussain Kazim, CFA, currently serves as Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey since March 2021, following their role as Vice President. Prior experience includes serving as Engagement Leader and Senior Valuation Consultant at Empire Valuation Consultants from June 2017 to March 2021. Hussain's earlier experience includes a Private Equity Summer Associate position at The Abraaj Group, where responsibilities involved building an LBO model for a $70 million acquisition. At Massar Investments LLC, Hussain co-managed a $500 million portfolio and performed extensive valuation and analysis for investment opportunities. Additionally, Hussain worked as a Business Consultant for Rural Support Programmes Network, developing an investment plan and collaborating with USAID. Early career roles include internships at Standard Chartered Bank in both Mergers and Acquisitions and Global Markets. Hussain holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, alongside passing all CFA exams.
