Karen Halleday

Karen Halleday has over 20 years of work experience in various industries and roles. Karen is currently working at Hourigan International as the Head of Research, where they focus on strategic advisory, executive search, and succession planning. Before this, they served as a Research Associate at the same company.

Prior to their current role, Karen worked at TGR Property Pty Ltd for nine years as an Executive Assistant. Karen took on a holistic approach to their role, supporting the Director in various business activities, from project inception to delivery.

Karen also has experience as an Executive Assistant at Publicis Mojo, where they managed the day-to-day needs of the CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and document preparation. Karen also worked as a Practice Assistant at PwC, an Executive/Marketing Assistant at Electronic Arts, and a Marketing Manager at R.Corporation.

Additionally, Karen has worked at OLYMPUS AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND as an Associate Product Manager and Marketing/Personal Assistant. Karen assisted in sales and marketing campaigns, provided administration support to the sales team, and organized conferences and trade exhibitions.

Karen began their career as an Executive Assistant at British American Tobacco. Overall, they have a diverse background in executive support, research, marketing, and project management.

Karen Halleday has a diverse education history. In 1992, they attended Genazzano College where they obtained a Victorian Certificate of Education. Following this, they enrolled at Monash University from 1995 to 1998 and completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Marketing and Management. In 1999, Karen returned to Monash University to complete an Honours degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, with a focus on Ageing & Disease. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Entrepreneur Lab and Propertyinvesting.com to pursue training in Internet Business and Marketing, as well as Property Investing and Development, respectively. At Entrepreneur Lab, Karen obtained a degree in Internet Business Accelerator, while at Propertyinvesting.com, they completed a Certificate IV in Business with a focus on real estate investment.
