Randy Boissonnault currently serves as the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages and represents Edmonton Centre in the House of Commons of Canada, positions held since October 2021. Prior to this role, Randy Boissonnault was the President of Xennex Inc from November 2019 to December 2021 and worked as a Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada on LGBTQ2 issues from October 2015 to November 2019, providing policy and political advice. Additionally, Randy Boissonnault served as Vice Chair for the Canadian Section of ParlAmericas between October 2015 and October 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Canadian Studies from the University of Alberta and Campus St Jean.
