Seth Miley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Seth is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at House of Design Robotics since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Civil Engineer Corps Staff Officer in the US Navy starting from April 2019. Seth also worked as a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) at SGW Designworks, LLC from December 2015 to April 2021. Before that, they served as an Armor Marine in the United States Marine Corps from February 2009 to April 2018, where they were responsible for training and mentoring junior Marines, as well as maintaining and operating main battle tanks. Seth also worked as a Consumer Product Development Engineer at TechHelp Idaho - Solutions for Manufacturers from January 2013 to December 2015, where they interfaced with clients and conducted CAD design and prototyping activities. Seth briefly worked as a Video Operator at Boise State University from August 2011 to December 2011. Prior to their professional engineering career, Seth worked as a Manager at Sure Clean Car Wash from August 2008 to August 2011.

Seth Miley obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boise State University, where they attended from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma from Capital Senior High School, attending from 2002 to 2005.
