Margaret Lucas is an experienced professional with a robust background in marketing, communications, and organizational strategy. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at House of Friendship since November 2024, Margaret previously held the position of Director of Marketing & Communications at Karis Disability Services and Development Director (Marketing, Communications & Fundraising) at House of Friendship. A former consultant in not-for-profit private consulting and marketing, Margaret has also contributed to the corporate sector as Director of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager at Dare Foods, among other roles. Additional experience includes teaching as a Marketing Lecturer at Wilfrid Laurier University and a tenure as Brand Manager at Hershey Canada Inc. Margaret's early career features roles at Dare Foods Limited and volunteer service in Uganda, complemented by an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Wilfrid Laurier University.
