Sherry Kuchera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sherry is currently working as an Art Director at House of How since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Producer at the same company from February 2022 to March 2023.
Before joining House of How, Sherry worked at Liquid Development from October 2014 to April 2022. During their time there, they held various roles including Character Team Project Manager and Texture Artist and Engine Asset Integration. Their responsibilities included production schedules, art direction, pipeline creation, scope management, and asset creation, integration, and delivery. Sherry has contributed to the development of several notable video game titles, such as Metroid Prime Remaster, New World, DOOM Eternal, and Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War.
Prior to Liquid Development, Sherry worked at Deep Sky Studios as a 3D Artist from August 2012 to October 2014. Their skills in concept design, sculpting, modeling, texturing, and animation were utilized in projects such as the Telstra 3D Architectural Walk-Through. Sherry also had a brief internship at Deep Sky Studios.
Sherry's earlier work experience includes being a Sun School Teacher at Markham Elementary School from March 2013 to May 2014, and serving as the Dark Room Manager at Lane Community College from August 2008 to June 2009, where they were responsible for maintaining chemicals, machines, and overall cleanliness of the dark room.
Overall, Sherry has exhibited a diverse skill set in art direction, project management, 3D art, teaching, and dark room management throughout their career.
Sherry Kuchera obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institutes, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Lane Community College from 2008 to 2009, focusing on Ceramics, Pottery, Paint, and Photography before transferring.
