Martin Kaalund

Martin Kaalund currently serves as the Global Chief Financial Officer at House of Shipping since November 2020. Previous roles include being a Member of the Board of Directors at SeaLead (June 2024 - August 2025) and a Partner at WeFreight Shipping LLC (August 2021 - November 2024). From January 2019 to November 2020, Martin held the position of Regional CEO/CFO for B-eye Solutions, where responsibilities included revitalizing a struggling start-up and ensuring compliance with local regulations. As Vice President of Accounts at United Arab Shipping Company Ltd. (March 2014 - September 2018), significant contributions included streamlining the book close and reporting process. Martin Kaalund holds a Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting from ACCA and a degree in Leadership & Management from the Danish Army.
