Daniel Strauch

A student of the arts from the age of four, Dan spent his early years playing the drums, piano and singing which lead to a decade as a national recording artist and performer as front man for the band The Secret State. His lifelong passion of the arts and experiences as an independent and signed recording artist, have shaped a unique perspective in his work on many fronts with House.

He is a passionate advocate and active supporter of many causes supporting Health and Well-Being, specifically around mental health issues. His commitment has driven his many prominent creative works at House, including producing and co-writing the original musical works for the award winning documentary Bastards Road, which focuses on the effects of PTSD on post war military veterans. In addition, Dan has worked with the Global Mental Health Alliance to provide musical support for their national college tour, which focused on student athletes and mental health stigmas. The initiative included a program which partnered with major universities across the country to facilitate conversations and student body performances with artists, to destigmatize the issues around mental health. He is currently involved with Helping Up Missions (HUM) in Baltimore to create content for their addiction recovery program in an effort to provide another way for those struggling with addiction to find help.
