Tony Donghyuk Yoon

Tony pursued a career in the arts with a goal of capturing the beauty in human lives and emotions, a passion that emerged while he was studying psychology and neuroscience at the University of Maryland, College Park. Using the power of visual art, Tony is committed to shedding light on the human stories behind literature, science, and the arts to inspire cultural change.

Tony brings to House seven years of experience in the field of photojournalism and creative filmmaking. He dedicated his early career capturing political, scientific and cultural affairs in Washington D.C. with a focus on national conferences, the United States Congress, and the White House. His experiences also include serving as a director and director of photography on music and film industry projects.

Throughout his career, Tony has taught and mentored urban youths through educational programs such as TRIO Upward Bound and LIFT academy, many of which aid immigrant families. He has also served as a frequent collaborator for The Bahá’í Chair for World Peace and the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, promoting Equality and Human Rights.
