As co-founder and Head of Research at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary), Chris leads the research team in creating the most accurate predictive analytics through machine learning, dynamic modeling, and cloud computing. Chris draws on his previous experience as an economist and his dissertation research on Dynamic Models of Financial Risk. In his free time, Chris enjoys racing and working on his collection of supersport motorcycles.

Jeff Somers is the current COO at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). Prior to joining [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary), Jeff served as the President at Insureon from September 2016 to May 2019. Jeff was recruited by the board to join Insureon, an innovative leader in the small business insurance industry that has provided coverage for more than 250,000 small businesses, with more than 57,000 active clients at present. Insureon serves retail clients directly and supports the leading top-five banks, brokerages, and insurance companies in delivering their small commercial business, placing more than $300 million in premium annually.

From June 2015 to April 2016, Jeff was the Chief Product Officer at [Ticketmaster](/org/ticketmaster) (Live Nation Entertainment). As Chief Product Officer, Jeff led a team of 150+ people who were responsible for creating, crafting, and optimizing the end-to-end fan and client experiences at [Ticketmaster](/org/ticketmaster). Under Jeff's leadership, the team was able to inspire innovation in the e-commerce experience and invent the future of engagement, search, browse, discovery, payments, and more. In addition to leading the product team, Jeff also drove the development of [Ticketmaster](/org/ticketmaster)’s FanGraph - a fully integrated data layer that powered personalized web, mobile, marketing, and customer service experiences for fans. During their time at [Ticketmaster](/org/ticketmaster), Jeff also led North American contact center operations and introduced self-serve functionality to fans, driving costs down 5%+ while driving NPS up by five points.

Jeff Somers pursued a Bachelor's Degree at [Middlebury College](/org/middlebury-college) and then went on to complete a Master's Degree in International Business at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Ryan Kaiser is the current Chief Revenue Officer at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). Prior to their current role, Ryan was with [LinkedIn](/org/linkedin) from June 2013 to December 2019 where they were Head of North America Sales, Senior Director and New Business for [LinkedIn](/org/linkedin) Learning & Lynda.com. Ryan was responsible for leading North America Sales and new business for the company. Ryan was also with eBay from April 2010 to June 2013 where they were GM/Director for Cross Border eCommerce. Ryan focused on B2B & B2C customers in US, China/Asia Pacific and Europe across all retail categories.

Aaron Eichenlaub has over 25 years of sales management experience. Aaron is currently the Senior Vice President of Sales at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). Prior to joining [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary), they spent nine years at [CoStar Group](/org/costar-group) where they were responsible for North American sales. Aaron has also held sales management positions at Premiere Global Services and [AT&T](/org/att). Aaron is a proven sales leader with a track record of building and motivating sales teams to achieve success in various markets across the United States.

Sachin Adarkar is the current General Counsel at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at [Renew Financial](/org/renew-financial) from January 2018 to December 2020. Sachin was also a member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO. At [Renew Financial](/org/renew-financial), Sachin led successful efforts to revamp corporate communication strategy and company culture following multiple industry setbacks prior to their arrival. The company has 200+ employees and $200M+ in annual loan originations.

From January 2009 to December 2018, Sachin served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at [Prosper Marketplace](/org/prosper-marketplace). Sachin was also a member of the executive team, reporting to the CEO. During their time at [Prosper Marketplace](/org/prosper-marketplace), Sachin helped the company grow from 30 to 700+ employees, and increase annual loan originations from $10M to $4B+. Sachin also oversaw SEC filings for the company’s continuous public debt offering. Thanks to Sachin’s efforts, the company was able to resolve a class action suit that posed an existential threat to the company. Sachin also helped found and served on the Board of the first industry trade association. In addition, Sachin testified at House Financial Services Committee FinTech hearings.

Sachin Adarkar attended [Georgetown University](/org/georgetown-university) for their undergraduate degree in English, before going on to study English at the University of California, Berkeley for their Master's degree. Sachin then attended the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law to earn their Doctor of Law degree.

Kim Broadbeck is the SVP of People Operations at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). Kim has been with the company for 2 years and 8 months and is responsible for overseeing people operations, talent acquisition, facilities/workplace experience & IT. Kim is also an executive sponsor and advocate for DEI programs and provides strategic coaching and support for executive leaders and managers. During the Covid-19 crisis, Kim facilitated the workplace pivot from office-based to remote/distributed work and is currently leading efforts to transition the company to a Remote First model.

Prior to joining [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary), Kim served on the advisory board for [Sequoia Consulting Group](/org/sequoia-consulting-group) for 7 years and 6 months. Kim also spent 15 years 11 months as an Exam Question Writer and Item Reviewer for HRCI. In this role, they were responsible for writing, reviewing, and forms reviewing for HRCI.

Most recently, Kim was the VP of People & Places at PAX Labs, Inc. where they were hired to serve on the executive team overseeing HR, Recruiting & Facilities/Workplace following the split from its parent company in 2018. Under Kim’s leadership, the team drove headcount growth by over 100% in less than one year while maintaining an employee engagement rate of 90%+. Kim also provided ongoing executive coaching for the CEO and other executive team members, established in-house L&D program, facilitated the Board Compensation Committee, created and delivered equity education to employees, integrated the PAX Norms and Values into multiple processes, implemented the company’s first Diversity & Inclusion strategy, and drove the process that resulted in closing on a commercial real estate lease to support growth.

Jeremy was previously a Partner & Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group, where he helped leading real estate investors to deploy billions of dollars in capital. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife, their three children, and two energetic dogs.

David DeMello is the Executive Vice President of Valuation Products at [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary). David has over 25 years of experience in the valuation industry. Prior to joining [HouseCanary](/org/housecanary), David was the Executive Vice President of Valuations at Clear Capital. David was responsible for building and maintaining valuation quality across all product lines and developed valuation review, process, and fulfillment systems considered best of breed in a highly competitive industry. David was part of Clear Capital's original executive leadership team and contributed to the success of the small start-up under 20 employees in 2003 to over 500 full time employees by 2017. David built and led valuation review departments and systems and led review staff through rapid growth, growing review teams from 3 to over 60 employees (including 2-year run achieving Inc. 500 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in the US). David is the architect of valuation review and fulfillment systems relied upon internally and externally. David also built the foundation of ClearQC, selected by [Freddie Mac](/org/freddie-mac) as the primary automated review tool to assess collateral risk via Loan Collateral Advisor (LCA). Prior to their time at Clear Capital, David was a Senior Commercial Appraiser at Seevers Jordan Ziegenmeyer. David has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
David DeMello has an MBA from California State University-Sacramento and a degree in Psychology and Business from California State University, Chico. David is also a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser from the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers.
