Shikhar Mota

Shikhar Mota has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Shikhar most recently worked at Housejoy as the Vice President and Country Head, a position they have held since August 2021.

Before that, Shikhar served as the Vice President - Head Sales & CRM (Residential) at Mantri Developers Pvt. Ltd., where they managed the residential portfolio of the group. In this role, they supervised 11 ongoing projects and led teams in direct sales, channel sales, pre-sales, and CRM. Shikhar also had active involvement in marketing activities and managed over 800 crore of new business with a team of 75+ resources.

Prior to their time at Mantri Developers, Shikhar held various positions at AIRWIL, including President and Senior Vice President. During their tenure, they oversaw the management of residential and mixed-use projects. Shikhar was responsible for the end-to-end sales process, marketing, CRM, and HR activities. Additionally, Shikhar played a crucial role in setting up distribution networks, processes, and policies and was involved in talent acquisition, team training, and cash flow management.

Shikhar's work experience also includes roles at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd., where they served as the National Sales Head and managed key accounts and relationships with Citibank, YES bank, and PSU banks across India. Shikhar was responsible for driving sales, business development, and designing sales contests. Shikhar also managed internal teams responsible for renewals, operations, and general office management.

Earlier in their career, Shikhar worked at ICICI Bank as an Area Manager, Himalaya Herbal Healthcare as an Area Sales Manager, Ranbaxy as an Area Sales Executive, and Dabur India Limited as a Sales Officer. In these roles, they demonstrated their expertise in sales and relationship management, team leadership, and market activities.

Shikhar Mota completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Lucknow University from 1993 to 1996. Shikhar then pursued a degree in Insurance Sales Management at the National Insurance Academy in the year 2007. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1993, they completed their Intermediate education at Dr. Virendra Swarup Sr. Secondary School in Kanpur.
