Andrea Cohen has had a long and successful career in the healthcare industry. Andrea began their career in 1984 as the Executive Director of ElderLink, a non-profit multi-service agency serving seniors throughout Greater Boston. In 1993, they founded and served as the Executive Director of Senior Source Home Health, a certified home health agency. In 1997, they launched a health care consulting business, The A.D.S. Group, which provided operations improvement, integrated post-acute strategy assistance and market positioning and branding for organizations serving older adults and their families. In 1998, they co-founded HouseWorks LLC, where they served as both Founder and Vice Chair, providing insight into HouseWorks strategy and growth, and speaking nationally on all aspects of in-home care and the post-acute ecosystem. In 2013, they were an Adjunct Professor teaching Leadership and Social Transformation at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, for which they were awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award.

Andrea Cohen completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Relations and Health Services from Ithaca College in 1980. Andrea then went on to receive their Master of Social Work (MSW) in Community Organization and Social Planning (Macro) from Boston College School of Social Work in 1984.
