James Miller

James Miller has a diverse professional background with experience in capacity building, education, and sales. Currently serving as a Capacity Building Associate at Housing Action Illinois since December 2020, James previously held the role of School Quality Measurement Intern at Chicago Public Schools from November 2018 to June 2020 and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago in late 2019. Prior to these positions, James spent several years as a Software Trainer and Legal Secretary at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd., where responsibilities included training and support for software users. Additional roles include Sales Associate at Batteries Plus and American Balloon Company, as well as a Lab Assistant/Tutor at DePaul University. James holds a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University.
