Josephine Jackson-Banks

Josephine Jackson-Banks, PhD has a diverse work experience. Josephine has held multiple roles at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, starting as a Manager for Temporary Employment Services in November 2006. Josephine then served as the Director of HR Strategic Initiatives from May 2010 to July 2014 before taking on the role of Executive Director, HR from July 2014 to December 2023. Currently, they are the Chief Human Resources Officer at The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District, a position they assumed in December 2023.
