Emily Nolan (she/her)

Emily Nolan has had a diverse work experience in various roles related to grants management and social policy. Emily is currently serving as the Director of Grants at The Possible Zone since June 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Housing Families, where they worked as the Director of Grants & Contract Management from October 2022, and held previous roles as the Associate Director and Senior Grant Writer. Before Housing Families, Emily worked as a Grants Manager at InnerCity Weightlifting (ICW) from August 2018 to November 2019. Emily has also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Other roles in their career include Development & Operations Associate at Bridge Boston Charter School, Researcher at Fulbright U.S. Student Program, AmeriCorps Member at City Year, Community Resources Coordinator at AmeriCorps VISTA, and ESL Tutor at Intergenerational Literacy Program. Emily's work experience showcases their expertise in grant writing, contract management, social policy, and education.

Emily Nolan (she/her) obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and French from Boston University between 2007 and 2011. Emily later pursued a dual degree at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University from 2016 to 2018, earning an MBA in Nonprofit Management and an MA in Sustainable International Development.
