Ahmed Abdi

Ahmed Abdi is an experienced accountant currently employed at Houston Ballet since October 2024. Prior to this role, Ahmed held various accounting positions including with Tilson Homes and Elias Transportation, where responsibilities included accounts payable coordination and general accounting tasks. Over the years, Ahmed has gained expertise in financial consulting, having established financial systems for the National Health Profession Commission of Somaliland, and in lease administration at JPMorgan Chase. Previous roles also encompass management experience as Co-Owner/General Manager at Five Stars Wireless LLC and financial analysis at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University, earned between 2004 and 2007.
