Angie Lane

Chief Development Officer at Houston Ballet

Angie Lane is the current Chief Development Officer at Houston Ballet. Angie has held this position since July 2014. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development at Rice University's Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies from February 2008 to July 2014. From August 1999 to February 2008, they were the Development Director at the American National Red Cross. From June 1998 to May 1999, they were the Communications Coordinator at CIVICUS. From March 1995 to June 1998, they were the Research/Public Policy Assistant at Girls Incorporated. And from February 1995 to February 1996, they were a Transition Consultant at Noble of Indiana.

Angie Lane has a strategic leadership and finance background, having earned their degree from the Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business. Angie also has a master's degree in public communications from American University, as well as a master's in philanthropic studies and MPA from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Additionally, they hold a BA in political science from Indiana University Bloomington. Angie is also certified by CFRE International in CFRE Certification.

Angie Lane works with Rachel Koenig - Director of Human Resources, Sandra Fox - Head of Costumes, and Lucy Graham - Donor Relations Manager. Their manager is James Nelson, Executive Director.
