Sherry Fultz, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the human resources field. Sherry currently serves as the Director of People and Culture at Houston Endowment, where they focus on developing solutions and programs to enhance the organization's culture and effectiveness. Prior to this, Sherry was the Vice President of Human Resources at Texas Children's Hospital, overseeing compensation, benefits, and performance management strategies. Sherry also has experience as a Recruiter at MD Anderson Cancer Center and started their career as a Compensation Analyst at AIG.
Sherry Fultz, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management from Baylor University. Sherry also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources Management from Houston Christian University. Prior to their university education, Sherry attended Memorial High School, which is part of the Spring Branch Independent School District in Houston, Texas.
In addition to their formal education, Sherry has obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. Sherry is a certified Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator, having received this qualification from IDI, LLC in November 2019. Sherry also holds a certification as an Online Virtual Facilitator, which they obtained from Kassy LaBorie Consulting, LLC in March 2019.
Sherry's professional certifications include the SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) from SHRM, which they obtained in January 2015. Sherry is also a Certified Benefits Professional, having received this certification from WorldatWork in December 2009. Further, they hold the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in January 2006.
