Pranitha Vadigireddy Gari

Student Volunteer at Houston Health Department

Pranitha Vadigireddy Gari is a dedicated public health professional with diverse experience in health education and medical care. Currently serving as a Student Volunteer at the Houston Health Department since September 2023, Pranitha previously worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi's Moffitt Health Center, contributing to HIV data entry and promoting sexual and mental health awareness from July 2022 to June 2023. Pranitha also served as a COVID Medical Officer for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, providing essential medical care during the pandemic from August 2020 to July 2021, and gained valuable dental experience as a Junior Dentist at Jayam Super Speciality Dental Hospital from November 2018 to October 2019. Earlier involvement as a Student Volunteer with Swasthya Vidya Vahini from September 2017 to August 2018 included participation in a major public health education initiative across 48 villages. Pranitha holds a Master’s in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from NTR University of Health Sciences.
