Danny Arzu

Danny Arzu, B.S., currently serves as a Math Teacher at Houston ISD since July 2022, where responsibilities include collaboration across departments to provide an inclusive and rigorous curriculum and facilitating communication among students, families, and leadership. Arzu is also the Founder of Life After Sports Inc., a non-profit dedicated to player development for African-American and Latino high school student-athletes. Previously, Arzu held teaching positions at YES Prep Public Schools and various roles in recreation management with the City of Houston and Miami-Dade County, emphasizing program development, community outreach, and youth engagement. Arzu’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Tourism and Events from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts from Tallahassee State College.
