Vanessa Staton

Vanessa Staton is an experienced educator with a focus on mathematics instruction. Since July 2021, Vanessa has been serving as a Math Teacher at Saint Francis High School. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked at Summit Public Schools from July 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities included teaching 12th-grade math and co-planning and co-teaching 7th-grade math as a Math Teacher Resident. Additional experience includes serving as a Swim Instructor and Office Staff at King's Swim Academy Inc. from September 2017 to December 2018, and as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Redwood City Recreation and Community Services from 2011 to 2015. Vanessa holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from UC Santa Barbara.
